The Miss World Philippines Quezon City pageant is a prestigious regional competition that highlights the beauty, talent, and advocacy-driven initiatives of exceptional women from Quezon City. As part of the Miss World Philippines Organization, this franchise aims to discover and nurture local talent, providing candidates with a platform to amplify their advocacies on both national and international stages. The organization operates under the leadership of National Director Arnold Vegafria, with Franchise Director Jen Jarina spearheading the Quezon City chapter.

Showcasing Creativity Through Sustainability

Recently, the Miss World Quezon City 2025 National Costume Competition took place, featuring candidates in stunning traditional attire that reflected the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines. This event was not only a display of elegance but also a testament to the innovation of Filipino designers, who incorporated recyclable materials into their creations.

Franchise Director Jen Jarina emphasized the importance of sustainability and creativity in the competition, stating: “By using recyclable materials, we witness the incredible creativity and innovation of individuals who transform waste into works of art, functional products, and sustainable solutions. This not only reduces environmental impact but also showcases the boundless potential of resourcefulness and ingenuity.”

The Search for a True Queen

Beyond physical beauty, Miss World Quezon City seeks candidates who embody authenticity, intelligence, and strong character. Jarina added, “We are looking for candidates who are unique, with a beautiful mind, body, and attitude.”

Initially, 18 candidates were selected to compete in the pageant. However, due to academic commitments, the roster was trimmed down to 10 finalists. The winner of Miss World Philippines Quezon City will earn a coveted spot in the Miss World Philippines National Competition, where she will compete for the chance to represent the country on the global stage.
